Hydration Hacks That Actually Work (Even When Water Makes You Nauseous)

Hey, happy hump day, mama-to-be,

Alight, I just know I’m not the only one who has been personally victimized by plain water in the first trimester.

Like... you try drinking eight glasses of anything when your stomach flips at the thought of lukewarm H2O.

It’s funny how something as simple as staying hydrated suddenly becomes Olympic-level difficult when you're pregnant.

But here’s the thing no one tells you until you’re dealing with it: dehydration makes everything worse.

Fatigue?

Worse.

Nausea?

Worse.

Headaches, constipation, and even early contractions later in pregnancy?

Worse.

Your body is not just hydrating for one person anymore.

You are building a whole new system—organs, tissue, even extra blood volume (you’ll grow about 50% more plasma during pregnancy!)—and hydration is what keeps that system humming.

But if water is making you gag, you’ve got to get strategic.
