I’ll never forget the day I realized I hadn’t pooped in three days.

Pregnant with my first, I was in that weird limbo where you’re starving and nauseous, bloated and somehow always hungry, and then—bam—totally backed up.

Nobody warned me just how hard pregnancy could be on your gut.

But let me tell you something I wish I had known earlier:

Digestion is a huge part of pregnancy wellness.

Like, HUGE.

Your gut health doesn’t just affect your comfort level (hello, gas and constipation), it also plays a role in your mood, your immune system, your skin, and even your baby’s developing microbiome.

Wild, right?
